Inspired by the Mandalas, the artist wanted to honor the feminine side of us all. The spiritual mandala symbol as a representation of our inner universe. Everything brings us back to the center, the heart, the star. The inner child, innocence, purity of soul. Our heart connected to the weak electron of planet earth vibrating in unison. Luminescent enamels and Swarovski crystals constitute the illuminating light of consciousness. Meditation artwork promoting self-connection. Rossella Faraone's creations are meditative works imbued with crypticism. The three-dimensionality draws the observer closer, enticing him to touch and caress the artwork so as to feel its spiritual energy, a subtle energy that allures him into the artwork itself experiencing the universal breath.
